The Ropes
Usually between 100-200m per bag, weighing 14kg dry on their own are carried per person, plus anchors and hangers in stainless steel. Sometimes it is two of those bags..
The Anchor Points
Anchors are fixed in the walls with permament or semi-permanent acnhors to securely use the ropes for rigging.
The Vertical Challenge
It might go down for 800m, then 400m up just to go down 400m again. It's not the deepest cave, but one of the worlds most vertical caves. The three day trip in allows you to go for roughly two hours without ropes in total.
